Field Trip Guidelines
Fields trips are open to everyone interested in birding. Non-members are welcome.

To participate, contact the trip leader
to confirm time and meeting place.

We suggest comfortable clothing, insect repellent, suncreen, and water or other suitable beverages.
Saddle Creek Park has a reputation as a good place to view migrating fall warblers - though there are no guarantees on any given day. To carpool, meet at Sunrise Plaza, 31150 Cortez Blvd., 0.5 mile east of I-75 at 6:30 a.m. Or meet at the restroom at the northeast end of the park at 7:45 a.m. In Lakeland, at the intersection of US-98 and US-92, drive east 4.6 miles to the entrance of the park, which is on the north side of US-92. Once in the park, continue north to the T-intersection and turn right.
