At 8 a.m. meet in the parking lot at 13489 Government Road. From US-19 turn east on Deer Run Road. At the intersection with Government Road, go straight in the right lane.

Along the 1.5 mile trail through sandhill and hardwood hammock and a powerline right-of-way, expect to see American Kestrel, Loggerhead Shrike, hawks, woodpeckers, other woodland bird species and fall butterflies.
Field Trip Guidelines

Fields trips are open to everyone interested in birding. Non-members are welcome.

We suggest comfortable clothing, insect repellent, suncreen, and water or other suitable beverages.
