Tuesday, October 24, 2017

Trip Leader: Eileen Riccio

Meet at 8 a.m. at the entrance to the trail at 5990 N Tallahassee Road, Crystal River, FL 34428

About 2 miles north of the Crystal River Mall on US-19 (just south of Seven River Hospital) turn left (west) onto Curtis Tool Road. The entrance is just north (right) of the end of this block, on Tallahassee Road.

This is an easy, 2-mile walk through beautiful, varied habitat of upland mixed pine, oak, and pasture that attracts a large variety of passerines as well as hawks.
