Hernando Audubon

Trip Leader:
Bev Hansen - 352-682-0460 or

You must contact Bev to make a reservation for this trip as space is limited to 20 people.

Meet at the gate to Cross Bar Ranch at 7:15 a.m.

The highlight of this trip will be viewing Burrowing Owls and Florida Scrub-Jays, but we also expect to see many birds that prefer open pastureland. This property, located in northern Pasco County, is a well field for Pinellas County.

The trip is limited to 20 people and all the vehicles must have 4-wheel drive. It is suggested that all participants have high boots or waders so as to be able to reach the Scrub-Jay habitat.
